    ⊙ This is an event for announcing the official opening of the 2025 Anniversary of the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Herbal Medicine Festival and wishing for the advancement of Daegu Yangnyeongsi.

    1. Traditional marching band’s stree parade -> 2. Pre-ceremony performance -> 3. Delivery and reading of the royal order -> 4. Opening performance -> 5. Event venue tour

    This is a ritual event wishing for the success of 2025 Daegu Yangnyeongsi Herbal Medicine Festival.
    ※ What about Goyu Ancestral Rites?
    It is an ancestral rite in commemoration of Yandi Shennong (the god of agriculture) who began to use roots of herbs and barks of trees as the herbal medicine for the first time in human history.
  • Joseon Herbal Medicine Adventure
    · Event schedule : 5/8~ 5/11
    · Venue : Time IN Yangnyeong [whole area of the main stage]
    ◎ Time slip to a Joseon herbal medicine shop and clear missions on medicinal herbs!
    - Get to know medicinal herbs and be energized through unique hands-on missions enjoyed with traditional Korean medicine
    - A variety of recreations related to herbal medicine will be conducted, including a medicinal herb quiz / guessing the weight of medicinal herbs / herbal medicine tea tasting / herbal medicine auction
  • Yangnyeong Singing Contest

    ◎ 国家無形遺産の公演を通じて、伝統芸術が持つ美しさと価値を満喫！
    - カヤグム(伽倻琴)並唱チーム "ビョルビ" (5月9日 14:00～15:00)
    - 国楽演奏 "ソオク" (5月9日 15:00～16:00)
    - 綱渡り公演 "綱道化 ユ・ジンホ" (5月10日 14:00～15:00)
    - フュージョン国楽 "ヘウォル" (5月10日 15:00～16:00)
  • HANBOK PARTY

    ◎ A participatory ball performance of a traditional HIP concept with a modern take on traditional elements
    - Korean classical music EDM dance party, lion dance, ganggangsulae (traditional Korean circle dance) and more
  • Traditional skills and art contest

    ⊙ Traditional Herbal Medicine Culture Transmission Program
    - Traditional Art & Talent Contest for Chopping Medicinal Herbs that carries on our legacy
    - A contest for carrying on the tradition and efficacy of medicinal herbs! This is a competition for inheriting the spirit and efficacy of medicinal herb culture to future generations.
    - Chopping Milk Vetch Roots / Participants & Citizens Pep Rally Event will be conducted
  • Time Sleep Concert
    · Event schedule : 5/8~ 5/9
    · Venue : Time IN Yangnyeong [whole area of the main stage]
    ◎ A concert connecting the past-present through a change of lyrics and popular songs embodying the history of Yangnyeongsi
    - From Korean art songs to popular songs, different genres will be performed.
  • Closing ceremony
    · Event schedule : 5/11
    · Venue : Yangnyeong Alley [whole area of the main stage]
    ⊙ We pray for everyone’s health and announce the closing of the festival, wrapping up the 5-day journey that has been conducted seamlessly.
    - There will be a Highlight Video & Traditional Art & Talent Contest Award Ceremony.
